Brief Summary
I am an experienced Band 6 endoscopy nurse at ABUHB in Newport, Wales, with expertise in advanced procedures such as ERCP/EUS and urgent endoscopy, and in developing new services like pre-assessment. I lead on training delivery, workforce development, and aligning practice with JAG and GRS standards. I support endoscopy staff through tailored learning plans, induction, and ongoing education, while also contributing to audits, service improvements, and clinical governance. In addition to my clinical work, I manage educational projects, present at national conferences, and hold leadership roles including Communications Lead for WAGE. I actively advocate for internationally educated nurses through the Welsh Government - Chief Nursing Officer for Wales’ Global Ethnic Minority Advisory Group and executive member of the Philippine Nurses Association UK- Wales chapter. My combined clinical, educational, and advocacy experience positions me to shape the future of endoscopy training and workforce development in the UK, specifically in Wales.Educational Experience
