Brief Summary

He is the clinical director for gastroenterology at St Helens & Knowsley NHS Hospitals Trust where he was appointed as a Consultant in 2005. He provides the gastro lead for nutrition and lower GI services. He is a member of the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team which specialises in the prevention and management of bowel cancer. His other clinical interests include the management of conditions such as diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, Coeliac disease, indigestion, reflux disease and anaemia. He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology, and the American Society.
