Brief
Summary
Dr J Iqbal is a consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT).
He qualified from King College London in 2000, and moved back to the Northwest of England, where most of his training was undertaken.
He undertook his registrar training in the Northwest Deanery and then advanced ERCP and EUS training in Liverpool.
He is currently working in Manchester and Liverpool performing ERCP, EUS and advanced colonoscopy including EMR and ESD.
He is an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Practitioner and is currently the Endoscopy Lead at MFT.
As well as advanced endoscopy his interests include Teaching and Training on courses for both Nurses and Doctors as well as teaching advanced endoscopy to fellow consultants and senior registrar trainees.
